I just can’t agree with Barrett’s reporting on the recent protests in LA and elsewhere and on Trump’s immigration policies. Barrett is only following too much the hate-Trump mainstream media. A much more objective review of the months since Trump’s January inauguration give a much different picture.

1. Trump is only enforcing immigration law. People who entered the US in violation of immigration laws are legally subject to deportation. To do that, they must be arrested by a federal officer with authority to enforce immigration law. They can be held pending a court hearing or in some cases immediately deported. This is what is happening. The media portrays it as some gestapo crackdown but that is only the idiocy of the media. It is pretty astonishing that democrats are openly saying that US laws should be ignored and violated.

2. ICE already has all the detention centers it could ever need. Just look at the ICE website — https://www.ice.gov/detention-facilities. There are about 250 “prisons” located across the US. They were vastly expanded and upgraded under Biden, whose plans were to create holding facilities for cheap labor when needed.

3. As soon as Trump was sworn in, democrats began planning and funding a new “Summer of Rage” just as they did in 2017. Organized protesters were funded and trained. The murder of George Floyd provided the spark for nationwide rioting. The plan was always to make some immigrant victim a new George Floyd but that never really worked.

4. Not enough people are taking mass illegal migration seriously. Europe is being overwhelmed with the same things. It is all engineered by globalist organizions, principally the Organization for International Migration, which was elevated by Biden, Mayorkas, and Pope during the Obama term. Their goal is to socially re-engineer white nations by flooding them with poor non-white people. Biden admits this openly in 2012 –

Something worse than what people imagine is going on in the American situation. A geopolitical theory I developed some time ago and not in a racial or ethnic context I think applies in the American situation. What happened is that I came to the realization that to be a world economic and geopolitical power, all you need is about 60 million people involved in the advanced sectors of your economy. That means, academics, health professionals, upper management in the private and public sectors along with some of the more advanced middle management workers, scientific farmers and so on. The 60 million figure is an agreggate population, meaning that the number includes the individuals working in these occupations and their families. I came upon this idea in a relatively simple way. I just thinking about how Germany could be such an economic power with a small population relative to the United States. My conclusion was that they accomplished this by having a larger proportion of their adults employed in the advanced sectors.

What this has to do with the United States is that the replacement population of non-European descended people arriving here after 1945 and their progeny now numbers around 100 million. This is enough to begin to populate the entire professional class, and that is exactly what is happening. How can anyone say it isn’t happening when it is? They may justify it in terms of the principle of merit or they may come up with more complex explanation couched in terms of social theory, but they can’t say it isn’t happening when the numbers say it is.

I use two terms to describe the present American population, and the same would apply to Canada for that matter. There is the legacy population, meaning, in the general sense, people who were here before 1945 and their progeny. Included in this are descendants of the early settlers, descendants of the European immigrants, descendants of the former chattel slaves, Hispanic settled in the legacy era and Native American. There are few legacy East Asians also, notably the Japanese Americans and the Chinese who were here already.

The other element of population I call the replacement population. Someone might dispute the terminology. Again, and as noted, how do they dispute the fact? Meanwhile, there is the behavior and perspective of the white American upper middle class particularly. The upper middle class perspective was copiously and accurately described in the book The Millionaire Next Door (Stanley and Danko). The perspective is two generations and no more and the social model is the parents subsidizing home ownership for their children and education for their grandchildren. The model allows the children to build wealth and the grandchildren to get the best education money can buy branding that goes with the education.

By the time the grandchildren are old enough to need subsidy, the first generation, the grandparents, are old enopugh to starting to get a little dotty already. All they care about is that they have grandchildren and that they are able to progress through the cycle. They probably at that point do not care if the grandchildren are mixed race or mixed ethnicity. Or what religion they are. Or if they even have one.
