Israel’s devastating attack on Iran took the world by surprise.
Of course people are hardly surprised that Israel would commit such an act of blatant aggression against another country since the Jewish state has proven, time and again, it is a terrorist rogue regime capable of open genocide, ethnic cleansing, and total disregard of the most basic human moralities, with the enablement and public support by the US regime, its master-slave hybrid partner in crimes (untangling the bastardly and incestual relationship of the two fascistic states will take more energy than anyone wants to expend, so I’ll leave it at that).
What is surprising is how poorly Iran was prepared, almost literally caught with its pants down. Its top military and nuclear leadership were decapitated, its nuclear and missile facilities badly damaged, its air defense barely working, and its internal security violently penetrated by Mossad and its agents.
Although Iran has launched intense retaliatory strikes against Israel, there is no doubt that Iranian deterrence and credibility has taken a hard punch, potentially irreparably. Its vulnerability exposed to all.
The biggest reason for such a humiliating blow by the Jews is Iran’s own inept nuclear strategy. Rather than pursuing a committed nuclear deterrent for national security and sovereignty like North Korea, Iran has attempted to use the nuclear issue as a negotiation chip to get concessions from western sanctions.
It has hovered around the nuclear threshold for years without clearing it, eventually turning the matter into an excuse for war rather than a deterrence against war. In essence, Israel and the US called Iran’s bluff.
Fair-minded people would counter-argue that Iran is pursuing peaceful use of nuclear power and has every right to do that, as a sovereign country. Of course, that is correct. However, in the world we live in, such sovereignty is only theoretical as the Jewish regime and its western enablers can simply claim Iranian nuclear development is for military purpose without burden of proof.
They don’t have to present any evidence to support their allegations, just like the way the 2003 Iraq war and the 2011 Libya war were waged under false pretences.
Even with a far more powerful country like Russia, the west can claim, contrary to all evidence, that the Ukraine war was part of Russia’s aggression plan against Europe rather than a reaction to NATO’s expansion to its border. Similarly, the US merely claims Huawei technology is used for espionage and must be banned, despite repeated investigations by its own allies (such as UK, Germany) that contradict this allegation.
In a world where might makes right, Iran’s sovereignty to pursue peaceful use of nuclear energy is a mirage. Its choices are simple – either develop nuclear weapons for real as deterrence or drop the nuclear project entirely. There is no higher authority to defend Iran’s right if the Jewish state and its western accomplices are determined to deny that right.
The attack also exposed Iran’s naïve trust of the duplicitous US regime. As New York Times gleefully reported, Iranian officials were led to believe any Israeli attack would come only after the sixth-round negotiation with the US regime scheduled for June 15. But from Trump’s own “truth social” bragging, the attack plan was greenlighted long before the June 13 attack. The negotiation was a bad-faith ploy to disarm Iranian alertness. Iran stepped right into the trap.
Iran’s regional allies have been systematically weakened by Israel and the US for the past year. Hezbollah and Syria were decimated, the Iraqi militia never did much, and the brave Houthis was not a big enough player to inflict more than superficial damage. In short, the Axis of Resistance is little more than a paper tiger.
The attack also exposed many fault lines in the Iranian military and society:
- Lack of discipline. The top military brass disobeyed orders to stay sheltered. In the face of numerous successful Israeli assassinations and decapitation strikes (possibly even including the suspicious helicopter accident that killed Raisi, the last Iranian president), the Iranian top military generals and nuclear scientists were not properly protected and still resided in their regular residences where they were killed in precision strikes
- A deeply penetrated security system. No one can doubt that Iranian national security apparatus is badly infiltrated by traitors and snitches from within. The issue has not been addressed despite repeated evidence of security loopholes, including the assassination of Hamas leader Haniyeh in Tehran in 2024
- Division between the nationalistic hardliners and the western proxies (aka. the liberals). The foot-dragging on the nuclear issue and the inconsistent support to members of Axis of Resistance reflect a deep divide within Iran among the various interest groups who have sharply divergent political objectives
On a higher level, the Iranian society suffers serious long-term internal contradictions that weakens its position against its enemies –
- A nominal electoral system that operates within a theology where secular interests and the clergy are never properly reconciled, leading to a demoralized and disillusioned population
- Dual military structure of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) vs. the national army. The far more powerful IRGC is deeply corrupted by its involvement in commercial interests ranging from energy, construction, to infrastructure. The corrupt influence of IRGC has not only weakened Iran’s national defence but polluted much of the Axis of Resistance into a profit-driven racket, centered around oil smuggling
- Finally, the events of the past one and half years have shown us Islamic unity is a delusion and non-existent. The Gulf state Muslim countries are as prone as ever to western divide and rule. No one has come to Iran’s aid and no one will.
In contrast to Iranian indecisiveness, Israel exhibited cold-blooded ruthlessness when it comes to its own nuclear weapon program. According to the research done by Michael Collins Piper and Laurent Guyenot, Israel conspired with elements of the US deep state to assassinate President Kennedy in 1963 because JFK was firmly opposed to the acquisition of the “bomb” by the Jewish state.
For a detailed account of the JFK assassination and the Dimona project, I highly recommend Piper’s book Final Judgement and Guyenot’s book The Unspoken Kennedy Truth. The context of the “Piper Hypothesis” on the JFK assassination was validated by the much more mainstream account from Sy Hersh in his book The Samson Option.
Israel exhibited even greater ruthlessness to launch the 911 false flag operation, again conspiring with elements of the US deep state, in order to entangle the US to the Middle East to destroy Israel’s regional enemies. Investigative reporter Christopher Bollyn documented the Israeli devilish role in the manufactured 911 “terrorist attack” in his excellent book Solving 9-11: the Deception That Changed The World.
For those who don’t know, the Mossad’s official motto is “בְּתַחְבֻּלוֹת תַּעֲשֶׂה לְךָ מִלְחָמָה” which translates to “By way of deception thou shalt do war”, a direct quote from the Talmudic Book of Proverbs.
The Mossad sister organization CIA has a much less honest and more hypocritical motto: “And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”, a quote from the Bible, John 8:32.
When state-sanctioned criminal organizations like Mossad and CIA start to quote the “holy book”, you should know to watch out because they are about to commit the most unholy acts. As Mike Pampeo said candidly about CIA, “we lied, we cheated, we stole…We have entire training courses…”.
Another contrast with the Iranian indecisiveness is North Korea’s relentless determination to acquire the nuclear deterrent, even despite strong opposition from China and Russia, both of which approved UN sanctions against North Korea for its nuclear program.
When you compare the national strengths of Iran and North Korea with their respective archenemies, you get a sense of the gap in commitment shown by Iran compared with the two generations of Kims in North Korea:
- North Korea vs. South Korea – population 26 million vs. 52 million, GDP $23 billion vs. $1.7 trillion
- Iran vs. Israel – population 91 million vs. 9.7 million, GDP $405 billion vs. $514 billion.
History has shown us that trying to negotiate with the devil is a fool’s errand and a sure path to ruin – look at what happened to Saddam Hussein and Muammar Kaddafi who gave up their nuclear plans to placate the west just to be wiped out without mercy.
There is a centuries-old Chinese proverb: those who negotiate with the tiger for its skin will be eaten by the tiger. Iran’s misplaced trust in the good faith of the US regime has exerted a terrible price, especially considering the well-documented US treacheries such as “not an inch east” promise to Russia and “one China policy” commitment to China. The US regime is simply never a good faith actor. Iran just became the lastest victim of its betrayal.
While one has to be sympathetic to Iran’s woes, in the brutal western-led “rule-based international order”, the weaker party needs to be wiser – unfortunately, Iran has proven both weak and unwise.

If Iran is defeated, the US will be free to deploy the majority of its force projection toward China. That would significantly undermine the strategic balance, so it is imperative for China to ensure Iran holds out during the war. There are two realistic ways China can do this. First, China can directly support Iran during the war. This may have already begun, albeit symbolically because so far there’s only been a single cargo flight likely meant to signal intent. Second, China can create a strategic distraction in the Pacific to tie down US military resources. This would give anti-China voices within the Trump administration an argument for keeping American assets focused on INDOPACOM rather than send the assets to CENTCOM. There is a grounded old Filipino ship on one of the disputed island. Now could be the right moment to pressure the Philippines to clear out of the old ship under threat of eviction.

Russia suffered from similar weaknesses at the start of the SMO. Why? Iran will do the same now, if they can survive the initial attack. But they are a cohesive society with a strong sense of national pride, and enormous capabilities once they rally to defend their country.
When USA attacks China, you will see China has the exact same weaknesses, and will suffer enormously from the initial surprise attacks and terrorism. But like Iran, China is a cohesive society with strong national pride, they will rally even faster than Iran or Russia. USA, on the other hand, is so ridden with this corruption, and so divided and weak as a society, so removed from any concept of national purpose and sacrifice, that it would not survive a concerted, determined attack. That is, should anyone grab the bull by the horns and try to end this madness. A nation-wide series of attacks on infrastructure, like the current oil refinery fire, plus blocking the Straights of Hormuz and sending gas & food prices through the roof, a summer of wildfires and transportation failures, would quickly see USA deploy the military to quell civilian unrest; that military is already stretched thin and under-equipped, and can’t be in 2 places at the same time.

It’s early days and I understand Iran has gotten its air defense up and running again. Though I also heard it would take several years to install the Russian systems which apparently has barely begun. Israel was in bad shape economically even before this and it’s doubtful how long they can keep up their attacks on Iran. What I’m wondering is what will China and Russia do? My guess would be not much. And who’s going to “negotiate” with the US after this? Trump is a disaster. Biden brought us to the brink of WWIII and now Trump has done it again. Trump is once again a weak president and a serial liar. The US political system is incapable of electing anyone with an ounce of integrity. The world media has obsessed over the nuclear issue. But Iran never developed nukes, does not want them, nor does it need them to defeat Israel. The issue is a red herring.
The bottom line: Iran is now pounding Israel to dust with its conventional missiles. Some of the missiles have huge warheads, much larger than what Israel can deliver to Iran.
Israel is also running out of intercepters. Soon the iron dome will be overwhelmed. Indeed, it is already happening.
Even more importantly: Iran is now firing its hypersonic missiles that are basically unstoppable. According to the news, one of these missiles just destroyed Mossad headquarters.
Within two weeks, Tel Aviv will look like Gaza. The only qualifier is whether Iran has enough missiles to finish the job. My guess is they do. Iran has been preparing for this war for many years.
Even if the US enters the war it won’t change the outcome — though it will prolong the war.

Israel used air power – but as soon as its ground forces went in – they took heavy casualties. Hezbollah still has their weapons – which is why US and Israeli officials are not happy with the ceasefire and keep calling for Hezbollah to be “disarmed”. It’s the same in Gaza – civilians are being pounded but Hamas is still fighting. The IDF are still taking casualties in ground operations. Hamas is even taking unexploded heavy bombs that Israel dropped that didn’t go off. They just released a video of them luring the IDF troops into a building and then detonating one of those bombs …. You don’t have to guess the result. Those things are available outside of the western media.

The issue is that Iran also developed their air defense systems with the specific goal of shooting down those B-2 bombers, should they make the attempt. And it appears Iran’s S-300 copy air defense systems are being pulled back to the area surrounding Fordow. Iran is not using them to shoot down Israeli drones, so they are not being depleted of missiles nor are their radars being targeted. Apparently. But I suspect if Trump orders the strike, there’s at least a 50/50 chance Iran shoots down one or more B-2s. And they could get lucky and shoot down all of them.

Although the world press is obsessed with the nuclear issue, it’s a red herring. Iran never developed nukes, does not want them, and does not need them to defeat Israel.
In recent days, numerous Israeli analysts on the Internet have been gloating about Israel’s surprise attack and the shocking decapitation of Iranian officials and military leaders. They are saying regime change is imminent, and are boasting that the Israeli Air Force’s (IAF)’s ongoing aerial campaign inside Iran is just hours away from finishing the job (“Breaking Iran’s back”, as one put it). Echoing these claims, Trump just posted that “We (the US and Israel) now have control of the skies over Iran.” Then, Trump went out of his tree, threatening Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenie with assassination.
But all of these analysts (and Trump) make the mistake of believing their own propaganda. They are ahead of their skis. This morning, video footage from Tehran showed that the Iranians have reconstituted at least a portion of their air defenses. And as the war develops it is likely the Iranians will continue to recover significant air defense, again and again if need be. We saw abundant evidence of this during the Ukraine War. The Israeli claim of total aerial supremacy, which our president trumpets, is bogus.
So, where is Tulsi Gabbard? Has the National Intelligence chief been sidelined? Why? What is going on? But that is another story…
It is true that Israel has succeeded in suppressing Iran’s missile launches with air power. In the last few days, the number of incoming missiles into Israel has decreased. According to some reports, this is because Iran is running out of missiles. But such a conclusion is also dubious. Why do I think so? In the first place, because there is no evidence for it —- none that I have seen. And secondly, because Iran obviously prepared for this war over a very long time. According to professor Mirandi, Iran has at least 200 underground missile bases, all deeply buried under rugged mountain ranges. It took many years to construct these bases. The amount of excavation required must have been enormous. The bases represent a vast expenditure and a strong commitment to national survival. Would the country go to all of that trouble and expense, then scrimp on missile production? Hardly likely.
Yet, the Israelis claim Iran only has 2,000 missiles. Is this just another propaganda ploy by Mossad to deceive us? My view is that the Iranians anticipated a long war and probably squirreled away a considerable stockpile of missiles.
Of course, only time will tell.
There is no disputing that Iran’s missile bases are impregnable. They also happen to be spread out over an area the size of western Europe. Iran is a huge country. Strategic depth is one of the country’s most important assets.
Consider that during the First Gulf War, despite absolute control of the skies, the US military utterly failed to stop the Iraqis from launching their SCUDs. Indeed, over the course of that war the US failed to score even one confirmed kill of a mobile SCUD launcher. The US forces and Israel were very lucky the SCUDs were so inaccurate, hence ineffective. Afterward, the Pentagon buried this embarrassing detail in a footnote.
The Iranians are thorough and do not miss a thing. Rest assured, they studied the First Gulf War closely and learned valuable lessons.
Days ago, Israel (or someone) posted a video clip showing the destruction of an Iranian missile launcher. But this proves nothing. Iran’s launchers are well protected within mountain tunnels. When the coast is clear, they exit the tunnels, set up and fire their missiles, then quickly return to cover. Israel has approximately zero chance of making more than a minor dent in Iran’s missile capabilities.
Just to give some idea, during the recent fighting with Hezbollah, Israel failed to knock out Hezbollah’s underground tunnels in Lebanon that were concentrated in a much smaller area. Heck, the IDF couldn’t even take out the Hamas tunnel system in tiny Gaza that was dug out of sand. So I strongly doubt that the suppression of Iran’s missile launches will alter the outcome of the war. In my view the IAF can suppress the rate of launches but cannot stop them.
The bottom line is that Israel is vulnerable to missile attack. Iran can pound Israel to dust with its conventionally armed missiles. This is already happening. The missiles carry much larger warheads than what Israel can deliver inside Iran. So the damage is much greater. No doubt, for this reason, Israel is censoring its media and discouraging Israelis from posting evidence of these impacts on social media. Despite this, some of the personal videos and photos have been posted anyway and will make your jaw drop. Iran is kicking the Bejesus out of Israel.
Israel is also running out of intercepters. When the supply runs out Israel will be totally exposed. Nor can the US keep Israel supplied. According to various experts, US stocks are also low. Nor do we have the industrial capacity to produce more and deliver them, at least, not in time.
When the intercepters run out it won’t matter that Iran is unable to stage saturation attacks because their launches are being suppressed. Iran will still achieve the objective of destroying Israel’s capacity to make war. It will take a bit longer but the outcome will be the same. Within weeks (maybe a lot sooner) Tel Aviv will resemble Gaza.
Moreover, Iran has now unveiled its hypersonic missiles, which are unstoppable. One of them reportedly scored a direct hit against Mossad headquarters just north of Tel Aviv. Photos of the destruction of Mossad succinctly tell the story of the war, to date.
At some point the Israelis will be hard pressed and will have to decide whether or not to escalate to nukes. If they do all bets are off. Pakistan has announced it will respond with nukes if Israel resorts to them. North Korea might do the same. If Israel uses nukes it will be nuked in turn. But whether or not Israel goes nuclear, the outcome of the war will be the same. From the get go, there was no way Israel could win this conflict without destroying itself.
Israel won the opening round in stunning fashion because the aggressor always has the initial advantage. But Iran has now recovered. The whole world is watching as the rogue state of Israel commits national suicide. Even if the US directly enters the war on behalf of Israel this won’t change the outcome. Of course, Trump could double down, precipitating global thermonuclear war. Never underestimate the power of an imbecile to do the wrong thing…
This is where we the people come in! Trump must be impeached ASAP and removed from office before he plunges the world into nuclear war! Where is the peace movement?

I fail to see how US involvement will change the outcome of the war. US involvement will prolong the war and increase the level of death and destruction. But in the end Israel and the US will lose nonetheless.

In any case the Ukraine war has proven that you can distract AA systems with decoys and then send in the real payload.
There is a video of HIMARS making an S-300 blow its load. You could do the same with some Tomahawks. The S-300 clearly doesn’t know how to prioritize targets. That really isn’t the fault of the Russians. It was designed for a different war just like numerous US systems.

It is still early in the conflict, but IMO Israel’s attack on Iran proves the inferiority of American/Western weapons. Iran has indigenous air defence modeled on Russia’s S-300 and they have the newer S-400. If Israel had superior weapons they would have attacked from a far without risking their 5th column assets in Iran (which could be held in reserve or used for other purposes). That Israel had to resort to such cunning methods just means in normal circumstances they would not be able to penetrate Iran’s air defence.

I agree with you on the issue of Iran’s air defense. But you still fail to understand the reason why Iran’s air defenses were sub par when the sneak attack occurred. I just learned the reason from Scott Ritter: Iran did not have Russian air defenses deployed when Israel struck. Putin had offered them but the Iranians declined because at that point they still believed that a deal was possible with the US.
Things have now changed. The Iranians learned their lesson the hard way. But now they are recovering. You can bet your bottom dollar the Russians and Chinese are now pouring air defense technology into Iran. It won’t take long for Iran to get up to speed.
