They announced that after the service the whole congregation would form a circle around one of the young women who was about to perform her IDF service. My concern is I think Ilana is virtue signaling in two different ways. First of all there is an option of national service for religious Jewish women that she could have opted for. As for your question about my military service. I was in my Hassidic cult when I was drafted by the IDF. For people like that you have to go before a army psychologist for an assessment and they rejected me. Very few people from that cohort would even be accepted into the military. Every time the poster is quickly replaced.) They also advertise a Shabbaton food fest a yearly Passover seder and of course a tiresome week of Holocaust commemoration where they throw a narcissistic pity party while denying the genocide in Gaza and seeking to silence anyone who speaks about it.

Even more amazing is how few Jewish students are at this campus. It’s as though Chabad is flaunting its privileges its gourmet religious food in the face of everyone else. But one needs to put things in their proper context.
Two months after his inauguration ZOG attempted to assassinate him.
It was a close run thing – Ronny came closer to death than most people imagine.
And in the aftermath of that I suspect that minions of ZOG approached him and said stuff like:

‘This time you were lucky.
If you stand in our way on certain policy issues, next time it’ll be Nancy or another loved one that bites that dust’.
So be a good fellow and let H.W. Bush call the shots on matters like:

i) The Sandanistas/Nicaragua and Iran-Contra (not to mention allowing us to explode Federal spending and grow Big Gubmint).
ii) Forgetting about returning the U.S to the Gold Standard (as you’d campaigned on during the run up to the 1980 Presidential election).

Proof that Ronny Reagan was running his own race as much as possible is stuff like:

1) After the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, President Reagan decided to withdraw American military forces from the area.

Summary: For all his faults, Reagan WAS HIS OWN MAN.

He had a terrific sense of humor and was very charming. In relation to that exchange I was having with you the other day regarding Ronald Reagan, I was listening to the latest episode of The Ron Paul Liberty Report and there’s something from it that you might find interesting (watch/listen to the 1 min or so of the clip below from 24:00-25:20):

When Dr Ron Paul was a Congressman, then President Reagan rang him to ask for his vote on a spending appropriation for the B1 bomber.
And Dr Ron Paul told him that he couldn’t do it because he campaigned against military expenditure increases.

Well, as you observed in that clip, Reagan was fine with that. He knew that Ron Paul was a man of honour and would never renege on a campaign promise.
So Reagan ended the conversation cordially and left it at that.
Contrast that to the abuse hurled the way of Congressman Thomas Massie and more recently Senator Rand Paul by Donald J Chump, when the former individuals voted against one of Chump’s reckless spending proposals.

Simply put, Ronald Reagan was old school.
